The Minamichita Road runs through central hilly area of Chitahanto, and connects a section of 19.6 km in total length from Hikozu cho, Handa shi to Morozaki in Minamichita town. It is directly connected to Chitahanto Road at Handa IC, and is also connects Chita Odan Road at Handa-Chuo JCT on Chitahanto Road, and forms the network of Chitahanto together with these roads.
